The Onderwater Natuurpark Zegersloot is a varied dive site with sandy bottoms, cairns and clay and peat layers. The site is home to a wide variety of life. You will see large eels, walleye, mitten crabs and long-nosed sturgeon shrimp. Wrecks are also here. The largest wreck is that of the sailing yacht, De Regina Maris, where you can spot schools of whitefish and bass. You will come across skyscrapers at the wreck of the Gatenkaasen, a little further. Enter the water from the jetty at the Onderwater Natuurpark Zegersloot. Get ready on the plateau that is 1 meter under water. Then descend and look for the different objects. The Regina Maris is between 11 and 13 meters. If you swim out at 295 degrees from the entrance, you cannot miss her. To the left of the Regina Maris is the wreck of De Gatenkaas at 12.5 meters, with a number of measuring stations at different depths to the left. Beware of pleasure boating. From time to time boats sail here.
