In Fuvuahmulah, divers may have the opportunity to encounter seven types of rare sharks in one dive! See dozens of tiger sharks a day, and observe thresher sharks in the shallow cleaning stations, as well as oceanic mantas.

Encounter gorgeous schools of great and scalloped hammerheads, giant whale sharks and Mola-Mola! Fuvahmulah is the only place on the planet where you can see all of these majestic pelagics together year-round in their natural environment.

Fuvahmulah is on par with the other islands on the equator, like the Galapagos and Cocoa, and absolutely should not be missed if you're serious about diving.

When to dive in Fuvahmulah Atoll

Tiger sharks are all year round sightings.

Thresher sharks and scalloped hammerhead sharks are best between September to December and the occasional sightings the rest of the year.

Whale sharks and oceanic mantas sightings are between January to May.
